About me

My name is Roberta, I have been a licensed qualified tour guide in Sicily for over twentyfive years and since 1990 tour director all over the world for over ten years.
I was born in Palermo but I consider me a citizen of the world. I have always worked in the tourist industry, representing Sicily abroad: I have cooperated with public an private organizations at conferences, international events. Therefore for many years I have traveled both business and passion, but I have chosen to stay in Sicily since the history of Sicily is that of the Mediterranean and my roots have always kept me tied to my homeland although without stopping me from moving.

Sicily, “the key to everything”

My long experience in tourism has shaped my personality and has further stimulated my curiosity. Over the years I have become more specialized in art, theology, archeology and traditions of my country.

The journey as a return trip

The journey also as a metaphor is the leitmotiv of my life and the same time a search for knowledge.
Each journey is an exploration, but at the same time a return trip: everytime I had a new element and a new key to knowledge of my self.

From different point of view: the search for the “aware movement”

Following my passions and my natural urge to search, over the years I studied different Eastern philosophies, body disciplines and various forms of dance and dance theater, until I embraced the Feldenkrais method (somatic educational system). These as provided me the key to understand the movement and the life as I was looking for. It was the missing piece that allowed me to bring order to the whole puzzle.

Art, heart, art: an holiday in the heart of Sicily

Life is always a network of roads and intersections, my two professions and the love for my land became at one point a cultural educational project of art and wellness, which is a new way to travel and synthesis of all of my paths.
